Natural tips to lighten accidental scars !

A scar is a brown or pink patch of skin where there was once a wound. These patches are fibrous tissue that has replaced the normal skin. A scar is the way skin heals or repairs itself. Scars can be a result of acne, burns, abrasions, accidents, body piercings, weight gain, disease and childbirth (stretch marks, C-sections).

A simple remedy for old scars is water. By drinking 12 to 15 glasses of water a day you build new skin cells, revealing healthier skin.
