Dry coughs can be terribly irritating and painful. Although it may seem normal it can be the symptom of a deadly disease. However dry coughs can be treated naturally.

1.Keep your throat moist. Drink lots of hot or lukewarm water as cold water can make your cough worse.
2. Soothe your throat with honey. The waxy texture of honey will moisten your tonsils.

4.Drink hot soup or tea. The steam from the soup or tea will help open the upper respiratory membranes.
5.Eucalyptusoil has soothing and nose unblocking properties. Since you cant use it directly on the skin in its concentrated form just pour a couple of drops on the pillow you sleep on. The smell will help keep your nose unblocked all night.
6.Eat a quarter teaspoon of freshly ground nutmeg (Jajikaya in telugu) the first thing in the morning. Don't eat or drink anything for 15 minutes after you eat the nutmeg powder.
