10 steps to Quit Smoking .....

Quitting smoking can be a very difficult thing to do. When you decide that you want to stop smoking, research all the different methods at your disposal and choose the one that will suit your habit and personality best. 



This method is one of many quitting methods, it has worked for a number of people, so it might just be worth consideration in your own case.

Steps :
  
1. Make an honest list of all the things you like about smoking. Try to stay away from those things .



2. Write all your reasons for quitting on an index card and keep it near you at all times.




3. Set a quit date.



4. As you’re getting ready to quit, stop buying cartons of cigarettes.



5. Dont Delay the quit date.



6 . Don't have 'just one. Avoid it completely .



7. Physical activity can help distract you from tobacco cravings and reduce the intensity of cravings Practice relaxation techniques. 


8.Always remember the benefits of quitting.



9Chew on it. Give your mouth something to do to fight a tobacco craving. Chew on sugarless gum or hard candy. Or munch on raw carrots, celery, nuts or sunflower seeds — something crunchy and satisfying.


10.Tell your friends and your family that you don't want to smoke and you don't want to see tobacco anywhere near you.
